DTP’s Total Preg­nancy Fit­ness and Mom-Baby Fit­ness get the results moms want!

Research shows specif­i­cally that our preg­nancy program:

  • relieves dis­com­forts
  • reduces the risk of some dis­or­ders of pregnancy
  • pro­vides sta­mina and move­ment skills for birth while reduc­ing the need for interventions
  • speeds recov­ery

The post­par­tum mom-baby set­ting allows a new mom to get in shape, enjoy time with her baby and gain from social sup­port — with­out need­ing a babysit­ter! Each gen­er­a­tion of moms brings new ideas to the table, so we talk reg­u­larly with our clients and honor changes in priorities.

DTP’s Total Preg­nancy Fit­ness™ com­bines fun cardio/aerobic activ­i­ties with  deep breath­ing, cen­ter­ing, relax­ation and mobi­liz­ing floor work. In addi­tion, tar­geted strength train­ing, along with yoga-based posi­tions for labor and birth, are all com­bined into the one-hour format.

Mom-Baby Fit­ness™ and Stroller­Dance™ com­bine car­dio work­outs with core recov­ery, re-alignment, strength train­ing, and mom-baby exer­cises and games into an hour of joy­ous activity.

DTP sup­ports sci­en­tific research to improve mater­nal and infant health. Our fac­ulty of Health Care Prac­ti­tion­ers, Fit­ness Pro­fes­sion­als and Mas­ter Teach­ers con­tin­u­ally update and improve our pro­grams to make them rel­e­vant to each new gen­er­a­tion of moms!
